Firat Demir hosts a lecture from Professor James K. Boyce about climate change worldwide in contemporary times.

James K. Boyce is Professor Emeritus of Economics at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and senior fellow at the Political Economy Research Institute. He has written and edited 18 books, his most recent works including 2019's "The Case for Carbon Dividends" and "Economics for People and the Planet: Inequality in the Era of Climate Change."

Firat Demir is a professor of economics and an affiliate faculty in the Department of International and Area Studies, Center for Peace and Development and Center for Social Justice at the University of Oklahoma. Firat is an associate editor of the Review of Social Economy and the Journal of Economic Surveys.
